Exhibition Introduction:
The "2026 Central Asia Coatings Show (CACS)" will be held in Astana, Kazakhstan, from January 28 to 30, 2026. Organized by the exhibition company UNITED EXPO, this annual event is in its third edition following its second iteration in 2025. The exhibition will be held concurrently with the 2026 United Chemical Show. As a key professional coatings exhibition within the five Central Asian countries, it radiates influence across Central Asia and Russia, highlighting its strategic significance and market potential.
In 2025, the exhibition took place at the EXPO International Exhibition Center in Astana, covering an area of 3,800 square meters. It attracted over 100 coatings raw material suppliers and equipment manufacturers from more than 10 countries and regions, including China, Kazakhstan, Russia, Germany, Turkey, and neighboring areas. The event collaborated with over 150 industry and mainstream media outlets, drawing 4,000 professional visitors from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, and other countries. It also featured 25 technical presentations, delivering outstanding results.
The combined population of the five Central Asian countries is approximately 81 million, with Kazakhstan being the largest economy in the region, achieving a GDP growth rate of 6.2% in the first half of 2025. As the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana (Nur-Sultan) serves as the first stop of the "Belt and Road" initiative westward, the largest railway hub in Central Asia, and a core node of the Eurasian Land Bridge. It is home to two national-level platforms—the Astana International Financial Centre and the Astana Hub—radiating influence across a 4 million square kilometer market with 81 million people in Central Asia. Located at a strategic point along the Europe–Central Asia–China land transport corridor, the city allows global goods to reach Europe within 7 days and access the Middle East, Russia, and the Caucasus region within 10 days. It has become a crucial hub for the exchange of coatings raw materials and finished products between East and West.
As the largest oil, gas, mineral, and agricultural resource country in Central Asia, Kazakhstan has fully implemented the "Bright Path 2025" national plan since 2025. Over the next five years, the country plans to build approximately 200,000 housing units, renovate and repair 21,000 kilometers of national highways, construct multiple transportation hubs, and accelerate the development of renewable energy projects such as wind and solar power. These initiatives are expected to drive explosive growth in demand for architectural coatings, industrial anti-corrosion coatings, powder coatings, and wind turbine blade coatings. Additionally, as a key node in Caspian Sea shipping and the China-Europe Railway Express, Kazakhstan is actively developing its logistics and transportation industry. It plans to construct five modern cross-border transportation and logistics hubs (including the Khorgos Hub) and operates the largest locomotive maintenance base in Central Asia, with an estimated annual replacement volume of locomotive and wagon coatings exceeding 3,500 tons. Furthermore, Kazakhstan’s building materials market has an annual import value of $15 billion (with a growth rate of 20%), and 65% of its demand relies on imports, offering unprecedented market opportunities for global coatings companies.
